HELP! I can't get Pictures & Videos to open up! (accidentally deleted some files)

When I try to open up Picture & Videos, the title will pop onto the taskbar for a few seconds, then revert back to whatever app is active at the time. I think its because I accidentally deleted some hidden files in the /windows directory... I was messing with Resco Explorer and hit the wrong button!

Does anyone have a fix for this that doesn't involve a hard reset? Im kinda far from my home PC right now...

This happened to me when I was using a Task Manager called InClose Mobile. I deleted that application and I was once again able to open Pictures & Videos. While you may not be using InClose Mobile, look at the applications you most recently installed and isolate the problem utilizing a process of elimination. Good luck!

That's the thing-- I hadnt installed and apps in a few days-- and I finally got my setup the way I wanted it... Oh well, I'll just reset. I know it was my goof anyway that caused it, so time to eat crow for the next hour while I get things back the way the should be... ...sprite backup is looking real good now!

Sprite backup has saved me a few times in cases like yours. For people that don't have it, you should get it. It's a life saver.
