I own version 3.2 and like it. I've been using the 3.3 TP versions for a while and like them better. I installed the 3.3 trial last night an it told me my trial period has expired. Anyone get 3.3 Trial to run?

I hear it supports the activex plugin. where can i get that at? im trying to watch a webcam over the ineternet and the browser needs activex
There is no way you can support activex on a PocketPC it just won't happen.
It might support activex like model where they have some flavor of pocketpc activex controls. But a windows activex control will not run on on pocket pc.
The only way would be to do what thunderhawk does (which requires a server and service fee).
The only way to truly know that is to use it. And as for myself, I'll wait till the full release.
I liked 3.2 on my 6601. I'm looking forward to the 3.3 on my 6700.

Hmmm do u have more information on this? espcially if the fee is very nominal
woohoo! though it sounds like you can download the full trial version now, i think the trial is still the version without java...so a few more weeks yet.

I don't have any info. I just know it's technically not feasable for a PocketPC to run Windows COM DLL's (which is what activeX controls are). The ActiveX DLL's will also assume all the other windows supporting DLL's are there also which would not even fit on the device. A ActiveX control is about as foreign to the device as a Linux binary or a DOS app. You need the Operating system to support it. ActiveX runs Native to the OS (unlike Java).
So if they are Claiming ActiveX they would have to do some tricks like ThunderHawk does but I doubt very much they would be going down that path.
According to Werner Ruotsalainen ("Menneisyys") on this Pocket PC Magazine forum the Japanese version was released as of June 1, so let's hope the English version is out soon.
