how do I clear by Activesync Inbox without doing a hard reset??
I've been successfully using Wireless Sync to retrieve email for several months now but two weeks ago this came to a crashing halt. I tried a bunch of stuff on my own to fix it but nothing worked. Last night I finally called Verizon customer service and they tracked my problem down to an email -- I'll call it the killer email -- that I somehow received. They claim that there is something in this email that my 6770 doesn't like, which is preventing it from downloading my Inbox from the Wirelesssync website. My outbox, calendar, and tasks still sync up just fine. It is just the inbox that doesn't sinc supposedly because of this killer packet.
The killer packet is from "[no sender]" with a subject of "[no subject]". I'm not able to view it or delete it. Verizon CS told me I needed to do a hard reset to clear out all my emails. Last time I did a hard reset it took me several hours to reload all my goodies.
Does anyone know how to delete the Inbox file without doing a hard reset? Or any other suggestions?
Thanks
