its a profile selector, not ppc profiles. Basically it allows you to set a specific profile using navigation stock. Small file, not automatic, but it allows dif ringtones, bluetooth on/off per profile, sound and if you want vibrate.
I can post the cab if you guys want...or i can find the link
EDIT: it is a freeware program, so mods...dont bust my balls if i post it!

Sounds interesting... I wouldn't mind seeing it... so it's kind of like a fast-user-switching simulation for your phone? Is that somewhat accurate?

I installed the cab, and my LEDs stopped blinking, so I uninstalled it, and did a soft reset, and they blink correctly (network, bluetooth) for about 30 secs, and then they go dark...
I'm not sure.. I have had all these plugins on for a long time and never had a problem. it could be other programs, or even these plugins, conflicting with each others registry keys-- or conflicting with hack registry keys. I wouldn't be able to determine which though..sorry
Don't worry about it - everything seems to be ok otherwise, and what I've actually figured out after poking around a bit is that it does seem to be a conflict with another today plugin (phone dashboard). I'll just say this briefly so as not to derail the thread any more than I already have, but another thread mentions the LEDs not functioning sometimes in PD, and although it wasn't happening before, as I said, no functionality seems to be compromised.
So no worries! And thanks for the cab - it's pretty interesting! (^_^)
I believe you are referring to my post regarding PD. This is curious, as I am also using the Treo speed dial plug in. It would be worthwhile to investigate if the PD plug-in itself is causing the LED problem or if its a conflict between the two. Checking it out now.
edit: i just disabled the treo plug-in and i'm still experiencing the same behavior. I don't think it has anything to do with the Treo plug-in.

That was a good thought, crankerchick. I hadn't even considered the interaction between the two. I am glad, however, that it wasn't the Treo plugin, because in the short time I've had it, I can't imagine life without it!
Still wondering if its PhoneDashboard by itself causing the issue, or a conflict with PhoneProfiles. I know Phone Dasbhboard on my setup kills my LEDs even when no other plug-ins are enabled. On soft reset, they work until the plug-in loads.
PhoneAlarm has a lot more features, but its also not free. Phone Profiles offers basic functionality for free, which is fine for some people. I saw PhoneProfiles a while back and considered it, but it doesn't have timebased switching. I don't need all the features that PhoneAlarm offers, and would love if they made a lite version for cheaper. As it stands, I'm just about done my trial period and I'll probably end up purchasing PhoneAlarm because of the time-switching. There is another alternative as well, PocketZenPhone, which does offer time based switching and can be assigned to a button (if i remember right), but also not free.
