Crashes on Incoming phone call (cannot be answered)

Does anyone else have this problem. The phone hangs on an incoming call. The incoming call dialog pops up, but the call cannot be answered. (Answer, Phone, Ignore don't work). Also the dialog pop up does not go away. Oddly, you can hit the start menu and it works, but the dialog still stays there. The only way I found to fix it is to reboot.

It seems to have something to do with a data connection. I have the new rom and have enabled ring through.

BTW, this doesn't happen on every call that interrups a data connection, just some of them.

Michael

I had this problem one night with calls coming in while I was already on a call. The dialog popped up with the picture, but i could not answer the call waiting. Happened like 5 straight times. Reset that night and haven't seen it since. I was not on a data connx either.

yea this has happened to i would say every single person who owns a ppc6700. the problem has gotten much much better since the upgraded rom. but in my opinion needs to be taken care of. if people have free phones and never have this problem

I wonder if you maybe have a third party program that is causing it...

I have had this happen quite a few times and i know exactly when it happends on my device. I have wireless active sync if the device is in the middle of a syncrinization and a call comes threw it will lock up. happends every time. Mine will do it right after a hard reset with nothing at all on it.

whenever this has happened to me, it's programs that run constantly or today plugins that i had installed to storage card. When the phone wakes up getting a call it turns on the storage card power again, which may temporarily freeze your system especially if those programs are running in the background.
