O2 Plus works on 6700

While searching for the O2 mediaplus and equalizer programs on the XDA O2, I stumbled upon this application on the xda-developers site. "IamGuest" on the xda-dev site was able to crack and provide a patch to get the O2 plus to work on all wm5 devices. Heres what it does:

O2 Plus is an application manager that gives you control over the running applications and it comes with 7 Today items that provide the user a wealth of information on the Today screen about operator name, battery, memory, names of running applications, alarms, sound profile, call divert status, tasks and appointments statuses.

O2 Plus provides an addition of 7 custom items for inclusion into Today screen.
• Network operator - Supports operator name display and call divert profiles
• Last call - Shows caller name or phone number of last phone call
• Sound Profile - Shows current sound profile and allows change of sound profile when tapped.
• Meters - Shows amount of battery power remaining and amount of memory space left in main storage, storage and storage card
• Calendar - Shows all appointments within the next 10 days. You can control the no. of display lines in option settings.
• Shortcuts - Shows shortcuts to various applications.
• Running apps - Shows all running applications

Here is the official O2plus details/features link --> http://www.seeo2.com/product/XdaAtom/template/O2Plusv2_2005.vm

I have successfully installed it and have it running on my Sprint ppc6700, but I am not able to make call diversion work nor have I messed with the scheduler. But everything else works good so far. There are lots of options and a task manager like wisbar lite included that can be lodged in the tittle bar, to name a few. There are some minor quirks IMO, but for the most part it works. I attached a screenshot.

I attached it via .zip file.

Instructions:
1) install 1_o2p202200106_wm5s.cab
2) soft reset
3) install 2_O2Plus.v2.0.Patch
4) soft reset

After playing with the options, another soft reset help stabalize things.

The lock feature is still there. Double check your today item list. Maske sure device lock is checked.

hmm when i downloaded the file from 1st post I got 2 cab's inside, and one of them said "not a valid win-cd file" (or how ever it was worded) so it wouldn't install but the second file was fine.

yeah, they're ALL listed seperately under Today plugins.

I only use Last Call, Calendar and the Battery Meter (top screen).

I love the idea behind this program but I've concluded it's too buggy after playing around with it over the weekend. Too many lock-ups and it added at least 5-10 seconds to fully boot up.

Ya, some of the modules are wanky.. It seems to reset the sound to off after a soft reset, and sometimes it doesn't respond to taps on the screen.

Haven't had a single issue w/ the calendar, last call or top battery meter. No slowdowns or lockups.

Those are the three features that I wasn't interested in and didn't try. It may be that those are stable and it's the others (profile switching, etc...) that create issues.
