possible to use WPA-PSK with wifi on 6700??

I've searched the forum and found no mention of this.

Is there a way to use WPA-PSK with the WiFi on the XV6700?

I had no problems with it. I just entered all the information, incuding the passphrase and it took a few seconds, but it connected just fine and I get really nice results. You just have to configure the network in the "connections" tab of the settings menu and choose WPA-PSK from the pull-down.

I have a Sprint device, and I don't believe there's a difference between the Sprint and Verizon that would affect this, as it has nothing to do with the cellular network, but of course, I may be wrong. Anyone know if there's a lack of support between the two devices for this setting?

Are you using the old ROM or the new one?

Verizon here....I use it no problem, when I try to connect to the network it asks for my network key. Everything else is automatic. Every Wifi network I connect to regularly requires it, and I have 0 problems with it.

I had problems with my WPA password being too many characters with the 6700. I found a post here that said if you use greater than 20 (forget the exact number but it is less than the amount you can configure on your WLAN) it won't work. Mine was 27 characters, and it would never connect. Reduced the password to 20 and works fine now.
