Just another option.. It's a little diff...

I think that looks great. Play around with some strong colors like red as well as the yellow making separate skins.

Might even think about taking ideas from the Kokkos liquid black skin for newer skin options.
There is nothing wrong with using someone else's ideas unless you copy. As long as you simply become inspired by and then make better.

Jakaroe808, can you post the red and the green cabs or a zip. I'd like to give them a try to see how they look on the phone. Also, any other colors. Nice job on putting out something new from the Eten skins.

can give you just the portrait incall and dialpad. All the other screens are not finished yet along with alternate buttons and the down button screens.. You could still drop it in your windows file on top of the other skins and at least see what the colors will look like.. I'll post it in a bit..

I'm also going to be fixing my Original set of skins, and reposting those as well.

Thanks for all of your work.
Point taken.. I just saw Kokkos skins for the first time today, and I think I understand what you mean.. How about some separate embossed metallic buttons? I am going to work on this black glass skin first but will start a skin with those kinds of properties as soon as I'm finished..

Thanks for the Input

Very nice work Pauly. I can't wait for your Black Glass Skin.

Oh and was wondering if you had any plans to "Sell-Out" right before you release another one of your skins(or in the near future) and start charging the community as Kokkos recently has?
Personally I do not have a problem with it- I simply like being informed instead of suprised- again as Kokkos has recently done.

Thanks

Im sorry but I really need to respond to this. I spoke with Kokkos and he IS releasing the new skin he promised for free, as he promised. Beyond that is up to him. Your attitude groundnpound is awful, and reflects poorly upon all of us. If u dont have something constructive to say or helpful, dont post it. U waste all of our time reading these rants which neither help any issue or fix any bug.

I'm uploading all updated "classic" skins in every color, which are now free of the tab at the top of the dialpad. a lot of people found that to be a problem, but if you liked it let me know. I have saved all versions.

Now.... it is time to get back to the new skins.. I'll keep you posted.

Calm down. I did not rant. I asked a simple question about if Pauly was going to sell out as Kokkos has.
His "new skin" is not his original announced skin. He is releasing the Blue Liquid when he originally announced- and began the hype over- the Black Liquid skin. There is principle at stake here and that was entirely what I was arguing. I am not upset- nor ever was- about Kokkos charging. I do the same thing for my work on my website.

Well anyway now that you aired out your opinion this conversation is complete.

BUMP

Can you please post a pic of what you are speaking of? I don't know what "tab" you are taking about.

Oh and the original color skins- to me- are weak in color and I never have downloaded them. The recent skins you created and the new ones you speak of are much, much stronger and imagined.

Brilliant Pauly.

Just a FYI for everyone:

I have no plans of charging for my skins. This is just a hobby and something I love doing. It has nothing to do with trying to make a buck, but more with trying to get some of my styles out there for people to see, hopefully opening up other opportunities.

Very nicely put Pauly. Thank you for your candor and responding in a concise and clear way. That is all I was looking for and will support you if you do decide to charge. I support those who are honest and fair with the community.

Just for being so frank and honest with us I was curious if you have a paypal account set up so I can toss you a donation?

THANKS PAULY.

Phenomenal skin. Add smart-dialer support, and easily tops my chart.

Nice work!

A lot of folks on this forum seem to like 3hc0.l3ad3r’s Vista Lite WA2 skin so I made this to go with it. However, I’ve only done the portrait dialpad – for the rest I am using Jakaroe808’s grey skin.

I made two versions; both are included in the attachment. I hope to skin the rest (call status, landscape, etc.) but I can’t say when it’ll be finished. This took me two days to make. I’m still learning my way around Photoshop.

Anyway, take it if you like it.

That is really cool! Is this loaded the same way as the others and what will it do to the ones I already have?

Oh and the bottom one looks the best.

Yes, it's only six bitmaps that I've changed. Just drop them in your Windows folder and reset.
