Looks great; is it on your site yet?

OK.. I added the Orange to the site but It is not posted yet.. If you want it here is the link to the zip. I think it looks good but was worried that buttons "On" (Red) look too similar to the orange.. If it is a problem let me know and I'll change the "on" color to something different.. I like to make the on buttons red (to me when I see a red button I think "active", not sure why though)

No.. What you see there is all I have done of the Black skin.. It is still a photoshop file and I have not cut any of the images nor have I built the other screens. I just posted it to see how people respond and if anyone wants to make suggestions before I chop it up and post it..

I think your blue skin is just fantastic! I complement you on all your hard work.

May I, however, add two small suggestions? First, would you please make the boarders around the letters and numbers sharper black. Second, would you please make the boarders around the buttons more of a silver or shiny color. Maybe, a narrow outline of gold for a little more "pop."

The reason for these requests is for more contrast in the bright sunlight.

Also, would you consider a new arrow? Maybe gold chevrons like your vista creations.

I wish I had the time and knowledge to do these myself but, I must bow to the creator.

I definitely think ur headed in the right direction with this.

three suggestions would be:

1. yes too much blue- more black needed. think of the darkest night u can.

2. the arrow needs to be much smaller. I'm thinking of mysterious and a hint of stealth.

3. If you are going to leave the "on" buttons red that would be fantastic!

What black are you talking about when you say "sharper black"? let me know and I'll take care of it..

Gold- I like your idea but for this one I would like to keep it all as black as possible for the many people requesting it, but once the black version is complete I'll start an alternate with your help..

Brighter- are you talking about the metal outer area? I can also brighten up the numbers and letters.. thet are siting around 70% transparent at the moment..

I'm thinking they mean the same phone skin in black but w/ the chrome and depth and shine of black as in this clock image? This would look killer against the vista theme.

Searched for the word "picture" in this thread, but I didn't see anything related to my issue. In addition to losing smartdial, I no longer see any pictures that are associated with my contacts. I loved that when anyone called me their picture showed on my screen in addition to their other caller ID information. Can I get the picture to show up as well?

I am talking about the Blue 44Ti skin only at this time. My suggestion about the letters and Numbers was to make them stand out more from the background by making them as black as possible and the boarder between the black and the background color as sharp as possible--no fade from one to another.

Yes, as to the metal area surrounding the background of each button. I just thought that if it had more "shine" it would be easier to see in the bright sunlight. Also would give it a "richer" look. That is why I suggested the gold arrow and outline of the buttons along with the silver to really make it look elegant without being too over the top.

Thank you for considering my suggestions. Thank you also for saying that you will take another look at the gold idea after you finish the black. Who knows you might want to do the same to the black.

I'm using the Vista red skin and really love the look and feel of it when used with the red guava theme. Quick question about a possible modification: How hard is it to change the buttons on the top row of the dial pad? It would be great to have a speaker button on the same page as the dial pad(instead of the history button?) so i don't have to switch back and forth from call status to dialpad when using speaker phone. Thanks for a great skin

why not just add a 6th row of buttons and have a smaller phone number display;
THEN replace the history with speaker button
THEN in the 6th row have direct history filter access buttons like
1-missed calls button 2-Outgoing calls button 3-Incoming Calls Button
OR replace one of the above with the hands fee on/off

I have no idea if that's possible but I don't like the history filter deal

I read that one guy found a 2 meg version of the cab and it worked? The one I have is 240kb. Is that right? I tried installing from my docs and /windows but both uncessful. and I tried after a soft reset. and I dl'd right from paulya's site...

Any ideas?

FYI... This thread is mostly about the skins that have been created for the eten dialer. None of the developers are here. If you follow the original entry I think you can track down the developer.
