Ok, looked and tried, I have what I think is the newest version of ETEN, and I have downloaded my skin that I like, it says copy all files to the windows directory, I did, no change, am I doing something wrong?

BTW the files all begin with PCV_______.bmp
Yes- now soft reset.

Go with the skins by Vinscuzzy. The are all in this thread somewhere. I use them and love them. Sun is fine with them.

g'n'p- a little formula for you to help you understand...6700 = cell phone = calls outside of the office (i.e. in the sun). the dial pad is on the screen, which in turn is hard to see in the sun. now do you understand?

it would be great if you would keep your unobjectively subjective and redundent criticism to yourself as everyone's needs and opinions may differ from those in your little world.

ciao

Unlike you it is unnecessary for you to provide childish analogies for me to comprehend a situation. I understood prior and still do. I live in AZ- inside the Valley Of The Sun- I know all about the sun. No matter the dial pad skin I had I have never had an issue with seeing it in the sun. Today it was 104 outside and the sun was ever so bright. I was able to see and use my phone perfectly. Hurray for me- right? Whatever!

Go about your business now.

Not to start anything, but I have never been able to see my screen in the direct sun, I constanty must cover the screen with my hand or shield it with something.

I have good "young" eyes, 2 6700 phones, and no I am not wearing sunglasses

Do you have a screen protector on your 6700? If you don't I would highly recommend getting a Anti-glare protector. My PPCTech protector do a great job at cutting down the glare from the sun. They do far more then any high contrast dialer skin can do. But a good skin can help too.

New skin for ETEN Big button dialer

Here is a skin I put together for this dialer. It is my first attempt and I have been using it for a couple months to make sure everything is OK and it seems to be fine. The only things I changed were the image files. I have attached a picture and the Zip file with images. Just install them to your windows file and overwrite ETEN images AFTER installing the ETEN dialer. Like I say it's my first attempt so I hope works for you. If you do have problems just re-install ETEN and it will overwrite the files and you will be back to the blue buttons.
NOTE:I have include landscape also.
Attached Images
File Type: bmp PcvDialerBkP1.bmp (63.9 KB, 190 views)
Attached Files
File Type: zip skin.zip (514.1 KB, 33 views)

I see so many people cryin about this it's not funny.

They aren't "crying". The purpose for this forum is to gain knowledge and insight from those more experienced.
If someone can't figure out how to download for instance, we look to this forum for help.
If someone can't see their dialpad in the sun, they ask "if" there is a solution.
If you don't have that solution don't use derogatory terms like "crying" just let others more willing reply.

PS. I've seen many of your posts asking(and recieving) help too.

new red and silver dialer(port only)

Heres the red one. Im using this one myself, so unless anyone expresses interest in the other colors(post#355), I probably wont finnish them. I will however be doing a landscape version of the red. Its really no prob if people want the blue or black, just let me know.....

p.s. This one looks pretty good in sunlight. Im not sure how visible you guys need it, but I could definatey read the numbers outdoors(in sunlight)
