The black and browns are too dark for my desktop.
I would have to agree with the browns. I am not a fan of the color brown whatsoever.

Black and red(darker than what you have already used)- blood red(crimson)

ALL THE WAY!!!

Hi... So it's been a while since a created a skin, but since I will hopefully be starting a new job is a few weeks I thought I get the bug out of my skin for a few days.

Now I don't want to compete (not that is a competition) with pauly or vinscuzzy. Their work go way beyond then my meager tools and skills can do, I decided that this was getting way too complicated... Beautiful but complicated.

So these are the continuation of what I started a few weeks ago. I can remember reading someone’s comment that these weren't themes, will I disagree. All these skins also include themes that are the complement of the skin.

The first Motorcycle Flames.zip I created to match the MyTego skin I created. The Orange Sky.zip was because everyone seems to want an orange theme... The other two I created because I thought they were interesting.

Enjoy...

PS. You probably already know, but don't forget to copy the themes (*.tsk) to the \My Documents folder...

Also look for post 206 for reg files to change the color of the text displayed.

Nice effort.

These are good for those who like things simple yet artsy.

Again great effort. A+

So I forgot to add something to the post of my skins(202 and 203)... The zip file contains reg files that will allow you to modify the color of the "middle" text (the numbers that showup across the top as you press the keypad). For these skins, I recommend using the white.

I added several other colors for those of you interested in using them for your skins...

dialtextreg.zip

Huh, I must not have responded to an email or something cuz I wasnt notified about any activity on this forum in a couple of days, usually i get a instant noification....., anyway if anyone wants, heres the completed bass set with landscape and portrait. So it sounds like the next one needs to orange huh? Or super dark. I tried finding some dashboard pix of ferrari, but couldnt find any that gave me any ideas for a dialer. I dont know a thing about cars, so if someone wants to post some ideas(with pics), I love to start a new one....

p.s. poqeteer, your news skins are great!! The moon one is my favorite

EDIT: the original dialer i posted had an incorrect image in it. this one is fixed

Vin once again it looks great! Awesome inspiration!!!
I was wondering, since I am not a guitar player(and there are probably others like me out there), can you redo the "in call" screen and make it blend with the main dial pad to look the same as your other skins do? I think it looks very clean and crisp with the wood feel and sharp black to it, but I am not too crazy(except for the artistic appreciation) for the dials and gauges. If you would do that that would be awesome!

Thanks

vinscuzzy, as usual beautiful skin!!! Actually I was thinking you could do as a logical extension to this skin... An old style radio? Or is that too close?

Okay, this is my absolute last contribution (glyph-wise)...

I couldn't stand the speed dial and call history icons in, so I created my own...

Attached is a series of the same basic look with different color background colors: black, red, blue, green, and yellow. Guess I could have done white but it's late and I'm tired.

Speed Dial Call History Icons.zip

Enjoy.

Opps... You have to rename them by removing the "color" and copy/move the files to the \Windows directory.

Vinscuzzy, I have to register just to say thank you very much for your hard work. Your skins are the best out there.

BTW, I also like the creative style of the rak dialer but the brown background is hard to go with my black theme

I also want to say thank you to Poqeteer for your icons. You and Vinscuzzy have done a great job.
