So my NE2 comes up on Friday of this week and I'm determined to get a 6700. In fact I already have the MiniSD card and the Seido extended battery. I planned on going straight to a Verizon Wireless store directly to use my NE2 and also get new phones for the other lines on my family plan.

Someone I ran into today told me that I might be able to get a 20-30% on the 6700 if I go through a 3rd party retailer, like a kiosk in the mall or an authorized VWS retailer (like "Partyland Communications" - fake name, but you get the idea).

The only thing is I've only seen one price for the 6700 anywhere, and that's the $399 with 2-year contract. Is it possible to get it for less through the agencies that I've mentioned, or is it best to go through the Verizon direct store?

Go to a corporate store... If you are buying new it is true sometimes you can get a better deal at dealers due to there combined discounts. However, since you have a NE2 and get a $100 credit your almost definetly going to get a better deal since almost all dealers do not support NE2.

Cool. This is what I found after calling a few representative places in town and asking what kind of deal they could get for me. The best deal I found there was $375 after the NE2 with a two year contract. It's $299 at a corp. store after NE2.
