i have not had skipping with the Anycom BSH100's, but i use TCPMP exclusively for all mp3, ogg , wma, and asx files. i don't use WMP at all.
don't know if that makes a difference.

I might just be missing something here but I can't seem to locate a player (other than WM10) that successfully integrates the AVRCP into it. Is that correct? Is anyone using a player currently that has full support for the buttons on my HT820's?

Other than that....NO issues with it. There is the brief, couple of second lag, when using WM10 and switching songs with the buttons on the headphones. However, this is greatly overshadowed by the quality and convenience factor. So I have to restate that this is excellent functionality that has made the 6700 an indespensible item in my life.

Kudos

i've been using gsplayer with my iphono minis (bt450rx) and have been pretty satisfied - the bluetooth range is severely lacking as usual with bluetooth devices, but the quality is good.

so far i haven't gotten avrcp to work in any program, including WMP, though spinedoc told me his works fine, but only in WMP.

i haven't received many calls while listening but to give you an example...this weekend i was listening to stereo music from gsplayer and suddenly the sound went to about 50% for 1 second, then it started playing my ringtone instead - i answered the call with the answer button on my headset and it came through just fine - the only problem was that when my call was completed, it did not resume the music, i had to press play on the device...this could be a result of some setting i have incorrectly in gsplayer but i'm not sure.

when i get a chance i will do more thorough testing of this and post my results. hope this helps for now.

thanks for the reply jeff

I am about to update to the new rom so I can install the a2dp.

but

with certain issues with new rom I am still hesitant.
ie logmein, low handset vol etc.

I guess I will have to just deal with the new issues to get a2dp

i was in the same boat - the new rom is fine...handset volume might be lower i'm not sure it hasn't been a noticable problem yet...a2dp is way worth it.

logmein works perfect (they fixed their software for aku 2.0 like a month ago)

Play / Pause Problems with BTH 820

I received my BTH 820 today and after downloading the CAB and Dll files, I paired it to my 6700. The sound quality is great...the only problem is that the pause/Play button will pause the track from Windows Mobile Media player, but when pushed again, will not resume play. I can even advance to the next track, but not resume play from pause. Please help. Also, I am unable to initiate voicecommand from the BTH 820. The headset continues to blink 3 times even after shutting down the WMP. Wonder if it is refusing to go into sleep mode for some reason.

Thanks

stutter issue

had EXTREMELY choppy stereo before when trying to use a2dp so i started over......
_____

just hard reset the phone and initially installed the a2dp install (w/o the reg files 1. copied files over 2. installed 'cert' & 3. installed a2dp cab into main) and now have crystal clear reception on my bta 590a through hands-free profile!

No lag sofar with windows media or through the phone!!!

Now, the hairy part! Reinstalling programs!

Other Notes: i did have wisbar advanced installed - so that may have been an issue... also had glyphcache hacks, etc....

so i'm going to start installing things on the sd card.. hopefully that'll clear things up... i'll be in touch if it mucks up again.

also, i've noticed that when using windows media w/ the headset, the program memory drops significantly - could this be a source of the choppiness?

had bluetooth stutter again today; cut off a program (gpsgate) and it cleared it up... i do have wisbar running at startup; so i don't know if that contradicts what someone had up here earlier....

If you have SKtools you can run freeMEM which I have found very helpful in freeing memory. I use my A2DP at the gym primarily so I run this program right before I engage media player to give me a little room. I have some slight skipping at the start of a the 1st song, that's because it's buffering, then all is clear. Hope it helps

+1 working with Motorola HT820. Added registry values, installed cab then cert. Paired the device and set it for wireless stereo. It initially didn't work. Soft reset and everything was perfect. Slingplayer + wireless stereo. Ah, I love my phone once again. Next up, GPS.

+1 here as well. Using my HT820, I installed non-cert, then cert. Quality improvement, but still somewhat quiet and no 'set as Stereo' on pop-up menu. Soft reset, no change. Turned on BT and HT820, went to device profile, refreshed, and BINGO! The options changed to 'Headset, Hands-Free and Stereo Headset'. Selected them all, saved. Went out to the device list, and the popup now shows 'set as Stereo' and 'set as Hands-Free'. Selected both there.

Now it's full stereo and LOUD as well!!!

No stutter, No problems and AVCRP works (WMP only, but I haven't tried RealMP yet.) All in all, SCHWEETNESS!!!!!!!

Additional note: The only difference between the 'Old' and 'New' models once the ROM update is applied is the LED color under the keypad. And I love having an 'old' device now! I can listen or watch what I want and type in total darkness now.

All in all, A device for all seasons: Sweat, freeze, freeze harder and wet.

Can anybody comment on using MS voice command with stereo bluetooth?
Will it work and are there registry changes that need to be made. I seem to remember reading about need to make a registry change after the rom update to use bluetooth and ms voice command?

Just make the registry change, radboy. The stereo BT phones will have absolutely NO difference with it. It will work just the same as with a mono headset.

OMG XCPUSCALER is the bomb with A2DP!!

Ok, I think every one that reads my posts knows how crazy I am about the 6700 w/A2DP. The only thing that I didn't like was that lag problem when it first started playing a song or when I would use the advance button on my HT820's to skip songs. OK....installed XCPUSCALER, pushed up the processing speed a bit and bingo! No more lag I have tried pushing it up bit by bit and noticed subtle improvements in the A2DP performance, but I have to sacrifice battery life if I push it too far.

Just wanted to share what I had found out with everyone.

Cheers!!

-copy Avrcp_MPplugin.dll into \Windows
-copy bta2dp.dll into \Windows
-copy sbc.dll into \Windows
-run Tor_A2DP_cert
-installed to Device
-soft reset
-run Tornado_A2DP
-installed to Device
-soft reset
-pair plantronics 590 and set as Hands Free and Wireless Stereo
-try an mp3
-scream

do i have to use a certain type of music format?
am i supposed to press one of the buttons on my headphones?
can someone help me before i throw everything i can lift out the window?
