to make mp3 ringtones

1. D/L the mp3 (or already have)

2. Use the program "MP3 Splitter" or any other program that splits the mp3 into smaller files. I use mp3 splitter because of how easy it is

3. Use any program to turn the smaller file into WMA format. I use "FairStairs" because, well, of how easy it is.

4. Take the wma and place it into your phone "My Device" directory using ActiveSyn

5. Cut the file, then place in the Windows/Rings folder.

DONE!

Yeah. I've actually considered buying it, but I end up doing a hard reset about once a month anyway and that renews the trial. I even open up mp3s over the mapped drive and listen to them in the house. Works very well in my opinion.

Not sure about file conversion, but you can use the ppc File Explorer, go to menu, click open path and enter location to share on your desktop.
