how do I make Letter Recognizer defaut input method??

Hey Guys,

I use the letter recognizer as my primary input to my 6700. Unfortunately, when I reset it goes back to the keyboard. I'm hoping that there's a hack that will make the letter recognizer the primary input selection without using Tweaks 2k2. I'm trying to clean up some of the extranious software and thats all I do with 2K2.

Thanks,

Dave

Are you using the new Sprint ROM? If so, I think there is a bug with the SIP. I use Resco Keyboard Pro and it will not let me set it as the default as the default keyboard takes over after a soft reset.

New Sprint ROM update here too, and Resco Keyboard Pro remains default after soft resets. Maybe there's a 3rd party app or some other conflict with the keyboard or Letter Recognizer settings on your 6700s. Or for that matter, maybe it's one of my 3rd party apps keeping it locked in. That's a strange one...

Best to all,
R

Ahh thanks for that info. I have always had letter recognizer as my default thru a registry hack. After applying the new ROM I noticed that the registry hack did not work as before and now when I soft reset I get the keyboard as default.

Anyone look into this?
