I am looking for a today plugin that will give me a "word of the day" function. Way back in highschool i had a creative writing teacher who would give us a new word every day to learn, and it really helped my brain feel more useful (if that makes any sense )

anywho, any help would be appreciated (and btw, i did search b4 posting )

sorry it's NOT free but i thought a word of the day plugin was a cool idea...if only i had more space on my today screen!

yeah, i've seen that one, it does look very nice, and i could probably convince my wife it was a worthwhile investment at $6.50... but i'm gonna wait and see if i can find a free one

If you purchase the " $7.49 ENGLISH DICTIONARY WITH THESAURUS 5.0" a.k.a SlovoEd dictionary by Paragon Software (on Pocketgear), you get both the best dictionary I have used, as well as a built in 'word of the day' feature, which appears as a reminder on your 6700 at any preset time, any number of times you wish. I have tested this dictionary against numerous words that are not even in the Websters Dictionary on my bookshelf and found they have been included in Slovo's dictionary. I have no clue as to why it is so cheap for this dictionary, thesaurus, and word of the day dictionary with your choice of user interface as well, but it is a heck of a good buy!!
