TT5: cannot install maps or voices when 6700 is docked

I understand that I must download the Dec '05 upgrade for TT Nav to work on WM5, which I did. The problem is that I can only add maps manually (select SD card location on PC). If I try to install maps when the PPC is docked, I get an error message "TomTom Application encountered a problem and needs to close". Further, I cannot load voices at all because there is no way to load them manually to the SD card! When I try to add voices, I get the same error message.

Please help! Thank you.

I had a similar problem, couldnt install anything, that TomTom app in Windows would get a critcal error and close. I ended up copying the CAB files off the cd and onto my SD card, along with the maps and the voice files (also CABs) and then just running them off the card. Works great, no complaints.

The TT5 installer doesn't work with ActiveSync 4.x, it was developed under 3.x and TomTom is taking forever to release any kind of patch or update to resolve the issue.
