Exchange error 80072F0D

I'm ready to pull my hair out on this one. I have both owa and root certs installed. they are not from a trusted authority but are from my own company's CA. At first the name was not correct on the certificat but I had my exchange administrator change that and issue another one. Now it tells me that the certificate is invalid. Support code: 0x80072F0D. I have searched through this site for this error and saw a couple of posts but nothing that has helped. How to I get my 6700 to trust the certificate?

We had the same problem, but got this working.

1. Make sure that you are using the name of the website and not the ip number, i.e. secure.xxxxxx.com

2. There are 2 certificates that must go on the pda when you are using a 3rd party certificate. If you log on to your owa on your pc via exchange server, click on the lock at the bottom of the screen, then hit the certification path tab. There should be two certificates listed, a root and the other. Both have to be installed on the 6700 in order for it to work. If when you use ie from the pc to get to owa you and get a certificate error message with one ore more yellow boxes instead of green, then the certificates are not configured/installed properly on the pc. It will work on the pc but nont on the 6700.

Glad it is working for you. Once you finally get the push working, it is hard to believe that you lived without it for so long!
