WiFi will not connect
Hello all!
First off, let me see how great it is to be part of this community. The 6700 is a great phone and it's great to see people excited and interested when it's not at its best.
Anywho, that being said I have a serious issue with my VX6700:
I've done many a tweak and added programs to this phone but am unable to find what the action was that caused my WiFi to stop working.
I hit the EV/1X icon to switch it to WiFi but all it does is search and search (the little rays emminating from the antena icon action) with no luck then it stops after 5 mins (or for however I have the limit set to).
I don't know what to look for in settings or anywhere else on there as I am a complete dumbass with most computerized devices.
I would really appreciate any help that anyone can offer to resolve this situation. The Verizon EVDO rates are a rip-off and I'd really like to use my WiFi connection to download and surf.
I've used the search function in this forum for days looking for insight on this but haven't found anything appropiate.
I've listed all my device info and tweaks at the end of the message. Thanks in advance!

Change Voice Codec (VOCODER) from EVRC to 13k on xv6700
First dial ##778
Tap on "Edit"
Enter Unlock Code 000000
Tap on arrow to upper left hand of screen to reveal drop down menu where it says "Display"
Select "CDMA Settings"
Click and hold on the "EVRC Enabled" line under the Settings column
Select "Edit"
Switch to "Disabled"
Then press "ok"
Click and hold on the "Home Page" line under the Settings column
Select "Edit"
Switch to "Voice 13k"
Repeat for "Home Orig" and "Roam Orig"
Lastly, when I contacted Verizon about this they gave me code to update "things that improve Vertizon connectivity". I dialed *22899 and it did some beepin' n' blinkin' and so forth. Of course, nothing really improved or at least I didn't notice anything of these "improvements". Damn Verizon.

PS: The only programs I installed previous to my WiFi problem was TRE all the tweaks too.
