ScaryBear stopped working

I've been using the Scarybear clearnotifaction (on reset) and the Check Notification program for a while now. It's worked great.

Today I noticed that when I run the Check Notification program so i can manually clear the duplicates, it hangs. Interesting thing is, it'll detect say 49 events, and when I click on "clear" it says it's clearing duplicate events, and displays "clearing 50 of 49 events". The colored "busy" wheel keeps spinning and spinning and nothing hanppens.

Anyone encounter this?

Mine did this right out of the box.

Get a copy of MemMaid. It will do the same thing and more.

I don't believe it is supposed to work with WM5, but I had the same experience you did. Mine worked for a while and then stopped. I find MemMaid is just fine, but it was odd.

Does Memaid have the ability to auto clear duplicate flags on soft reset?

Not to my knowledge. Manual only, I believe.

ScaryBear's software is doing the same thing for me. Says it is clearing and color thingee is spinning but it does not clear them. I can do it manually but when you have 80+ it is slow. Anyone have this working? MemMaid may work but ScaryBear is free.

I had this problem as well. I figured out if I scan the list in check notifiy, delete the enteries labeled "NULL", and then attemted clear again; it worked fine.

Fantastic, this solved my problem as well! I tried Memaid, but it did not catch all the duplicates that ScaryBear catches.

Now that I got rid of that "NULL" event, all is good in beartown again.

Thanks!
