I recently upgraded to Sprite Backup 5 for my Verizon xv-6700. The backups have been occuring on schedule every morning and the log says the backups are successful.
I tried to restore the other morning (first time I tried with the new version) and the restore failed. I got an error message of:
KillProcesses() failed
I have emailed Sprite Software three times and they claimed I can not use Sprite to restore after a ROM upgrade. Only one problem with this, I have not upgraded the ROM. I wrote them back and still no answere. NOT GOOD TECH SUPPORT FROM SPRITE.
Any hints appreciated
