I was told by my Sprint rep that my EVDO Power Vision plan will get me data services here.
I get an error 1012 Data Roaming Forbidden.

Any ideas?

Was he sure about that? Whenever I go to Canada (from Buffalo), I'm roaming and data services aren't usually available while roaming.

I heard as well that Sprint was working on a data roaming service for Canada. and at this time it would be no extra charge but that could change.

are you on the $15 power vision plan or the $29 tether data plan?

data roaming is not supported at this time and while I may have missed it, have not seen any announcement from Sprint saying otherwise.

Im on the Power vision not the tether plan.

I wonder if that makes a difference.
