how should i go about getting the most from my new 6700??

im a newbie.

everything is overwhelming to me and i was trying really hard to comprehend all the posts going on in the sticky threads, but its really difficult

so im asking a favor to all the people who seem to have a good amount of knowledge regarding the 6700

step by step how should i go about getting the most from my new 6700? (i.e. increasing speed and quality of performance)

I suggests using it with the default configuration for a week before screwing with it.

Once you know how to use the default functions you will know what you want improved and will find it easier to find the mods you want.

Without understanting the phone you run a VERY high risk of making it unstable by installing every mod under the sun.

I agree with Lazybones and you should get to know the unmodified phone first before you do anything to the phone. I also think its a bit arrogant and selfish to start a new thread asking for someone to sift through all the information in this forum and make a special "guide" just for you.

The guys a ppc6700users have taken a lot of the info from this forum and distilled it down to the essentials. They have an entire thread for newbies, you might want to check it out.
