possible to Email Appointment?

Sorry if it's been covered, but search didn't find it for me.

Is there anyway to email somebody an Appointment that you've created in your phone. That way they would just download the Appointment from their phone, and it creates the entry in their Calender.

Thanks!

Yeah, I tried that. I have Sprint with the MMS application installed. Just like Sprint does with pictures, it intercepts the file and puts it into PictureMail format. So it doesn't work. Has anyone with a Sprint 6700 been able to send appointments?

I believe this is how you can do it:

1.) Open Calendar app and select Menu > Options...Click on the Appointment tab...under Send meeting requests via: field, select the email acct you want to use.

2.) Edit the calendar entry you want to send. There should be an Attendees: field. Enter your attendees.

3.) The emails should be automatically created and is in the outbox of the email acct you selected. Just go in that acct and click send/receive.

Hmmm... yeah, I thought about that. I actually accidentally sent one to someone before like this. It did it automatically. But I don't think it included any attachment of any sort. It was just the details I believe. Can anyone confirm this? I'm gonna try testing it, but if anyone has done it, let me know!

You aren't looking for it to send an attachment. Meeting requests in outlook are just that, meeting requests. It is sent just like a normal email except the email is coded differently. The recipient just would have to open the invite and click on accept.

What about appointments that I haven't created. Is there a way to foward a calendar appointment to someone else like you do on the desktop version? I have tried several options but didn't see anything that worked.
