I haven’t found away yet.
I’ve tried pressing the disconnect button in the connection manager for data.
And undoing the always on registry hack, its on by default now.

Nether worked, I take the subway every day and get the data not available while roam popup that keeps the screen on until I hit dismiss which is killing my battery.

Turn off the automatic email address polling, I think that will save your battery and I noticed my phone was always running evdo when I first did the rom... this was the reason. Instead of checking email every 15 minutes or whatever set it for an hour or turn it off and check manually. This standard battery just isnt good enough to have this thing checking all the time.

I saw this when I installed the Eten big button phone screen. Otherwise I don't see it on all the time.
