im sure if you do the active sync hack to stop the every ten min exchange server hack you'd be able to go a whole day on the standard batteries

Thanks for the pics!

I ordered one from LionBattery back on the 20th. There has been a delay in the shipment of my battery (which I was supposed to have received last week) due to the manufacturer making some final tweaks to the battery, catching up to back orders, etc. I should receive mine in the first week or so of April. No biggie. I'm curious to see what kind of performance this battery will give. Keeps us posted!

I concur. I've tried it a couple of times but it doesn't work with the new ROM, apparently. Hopefully someone will figure it out.

Off topic, but the fake server hack to stop the 6700 ActiveSync from coming on at will still works with the new Sprint ROM. If you enabled time sync with the new update, you'll need to disable "Time Synchronization" in your phone settings.

In regard to the extended battery pics, thanks BigHaig! Cheers!

Can you elaborate on this? Forgive me for being a little dense this morning, but I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Does this have to do with the "Manually" settings vs. the time settings?

Not a problem, I just had to use the search feature to find my original post, lol... Hope the Mods do not mind this thread going further off topic. D'oh!

Make sure you perform Step 2 or else this "hack" will not work.

The above ActiveSync fake server "set to manual" trick does work with the new Sprint ROM update. That's only if you go into your phone settings, and disable the "Time Synchronization" setting.

I've been testing this for a few days, and so far ActivsSync has not started on it's own. Now, if I need to use the time sync for a network, I just enable it and disable it when done.

So again, if you have the new Sprint ROM update, and do not want ActiveSync to run on it's own. Do the fake server trick and disable Time Synchronization (Phone Menu - Options - Services tab - Time Synchronization - Get Settings - Disable).

Hope this helps.

Best to all,
R
