Can you elaborate on this? Forgive me for being a little dense this morning, but I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Does this have to do with the "Manually" settings vs. the time settings?

Not a problem, I just had to use the search feature to find my original post, lol... Hope the Mods do not mind this thread going further off topic. D'oh!

Make sure you perform Step 2 or else this "hack" will not work.
The above ActiveSync fake server "set to manual" trick does work with the new Sprint ROM update. That's only if you go into your phone settings, and disable the "Time Synchronization" setting.
I've been testing this for a few days, and so far ActivsSync has not started on it's own. Now, if I need to use the time sync for a network, I just enable it and disable it when done.
So again, if you have the new Sprint ROM update, and do not want ActiveSync to run on it's own. Do the fake server trick and disable Time Synchronization (Phone Menu - Options - Services tab - Time Synchronization - Get Settings - Disable).
Hope this helps.
Best to all,
