am I missing the WM5 clock application file??

Tried to turn off an alarm I had set at 5am the other day, and to my suprise the stock program clock wouldn't even start.

Explored the windows directory and found only:

clock 388B (shortcut ?)
clockdll 36.0k
clocknot 7.10k

am I missing an application file in the Windows directory ?

Do you mean that if you click on the date and time on the today screen, it doesn't take you into the clock settings and alarm page? If so, then you may have lost something in the update...mine seems to be working as it did before.

If I am misunderstanding, please post again and I will see if I can help at all.

Thanks,
David

If I go to settings-system-clocks & alarms, i get nothing, that was where you set alarms, now it brings up nothing.

That's why I thought, maybe a file was missing, since clock is 388B, which appears to be a shortcut to the file, not the actual clock main program file.

I've attached a screenshot of the .dll files in use while in the CLOCK.EXE application. I hope this helps you.

Sure thing... I captured the process details list via the Task Manager in SOTI Pocket Controller. http://www.soti.net/default.asp?Cmd=...s&SubCmd=PCPro

1. Right-click on the 6700 image via the desktop
2. Select Tools>Task Manager
3. Once you are in the task manager, you can select from a list of all running system processes & click on the Details button to see the screen shot I posted.

That's pretty sweet. Thanks! I'll definitely check it out. I'm currently using SKTools which has this function, but I'm looking for something for the desktop.

Thanks all for checking.. After ruling out the program itself, I found the culprit to be Tweaks2k2.NET/Security-No access to change time.
