Anoyone with luck using 3Way + Contact list?

It seems that the only I can make a threeway call is by manually typing the number for the third party after connecting to the first party. Is there no way to use the contact list to select the third party?

Please help. This seems so remedial. I can't believe it isn;'t obvious to me.
Thanks Y'all!!!

That's because I don't think there's a way.

You can do this on the GSM versions of this phone (T-Mobile, Cingular), but not CDMA (Sprint, Alltel, Verizon).

I have made 3-way calls with Sprint's 6700 but the problem lies in the fact that you have to manually dial the number of the third party as opposed from selecting them via smartdial.
