Angry Sprint store said they could upgrade my phone and thet cannot!!

I have trouble getting to a PC so I went to Sprint yesterday about ROM upgrade. He said he could do it but didn't have cable. Made it my mom's PC but she has Windows 98se- not compatible.
So I go back to Sprint store (Niles, Ohio) and they said they can't put anything in to their system and the guy who said he would do it is on vacation until next week. They said all they can do to my phone is a hard reset, I walked 2miles one way to do this and was TOLD it could be done and I see in the posts that people are getting it done at the stores. What jerks.
Is there a Sprint # I can call to complain or make them do it? I want the new ROM!

You walked 2 miles to the Sprint store to ask for an upgrade? Exercise is great and all, but maybe a less expensive phone would equal less walking

Why do you need the upgrade so bad?

Thanks

Ask for Ben. Got it. I have Tier2's number- I'll call direct. Thank you.
First replier: You're a jerk. I can afford any phone on the market but I lost my license temporarily if you really care to know.
