Extended_Rom2 Free Space - can I move it back into usable memory??

For all those that did the junkware removal by installing the 2 files and creating extended_rom2 etc etc. If you go into start > settings > system > memory > storage card > extended_rom2 do you see like megabytes of freespace and if so is there any way to move that space back into usable memory? I deleted the junkware cabs but it didnt move that memory back over to my useable memory

You can use that space to install applications but unfortunately it doesn't work as program memory.

It performs as a storage card in every way that I can see but thanks for telling me that I can use it cause I didnt even think about that I thought it was just lost memory. This will still help me free up some memory in program memory then. Cool thanks. If anyone else knows of a way to move that memory over though let me know. Thanks.

While having ROM2 unhidden I have noticed my 6700 running sluggish.

Mine as well... It already got to the point where I had to hard reset after trying to install things in there. So there ya go we have like seven mb's there (depending on what you deleted) and I dont think its usuable unless we can somehow move it to program memory... sounds like a repartioning of the drive is in order but I dont know enough about the workings of these phones to make it happen. Anyone up for the challenge?
