Look for the app for Caller ID over bluetooth. Packaged with the latest version is an app to open the audio gateway with VC.

And as I just found out, Bad Sector's IDTransfer 1.0 (prior was called Caller ID 1.6) works beautifully. Allows you to switch between the audio gateway and MSVC 1.6 (and pushed the caller ID to the BT headset using MSVC, spiffy)
Sorry to bother you. I went through the thread to see if your app worked with MS Voice command or not. If I understand your app, it BASICLY directs all sound from the ppc to the BT.
SInce MSVC requires a button, and so does BTToggle, does this cause a problem?

Any and all advice would be appreciated.
Bttoggle doesn't work with MSVC 1.6. That said, MSVC 1.6 can be activated via the headset button. IDTransfer 1.0 by Bad Sector simply passes the caller ID info to the BT headset and can switch to the Audio Gateway (which BTToggle did with 1.5 but no longer does with 1.6 but IDTransfer can do it with 1.5 as well, eliminating the need for BTToggle all together.
So... A call comes in, MSVC reads the incoming CID data and by itself won't transfer the CID verbally on anything less than build 15 of WM5. With IDTransfer, it forces MSVC to verbalize the CID data on any version of WM5 and then pushes it to either the speaker on the phone between rings, or to an enabled BT headset.
If you use your PPC for music at all and want to listen to it through the headset, simply click the button on the BT headset and say, "Open Audio" which temporarily disables MSVC and allows the Audio Gateway to be passed to the headset...
NO, What I need help with is getting MSVC to take command of my BT earpiece and activate when I press the activation button on the BT. I can ONLY get MSVC to work via the phone activation button and the phones microphone.
What version of MSVC are you running? 1.5 doesn't activate through the headset button, but 1.6 does. BTToggle won't help with that. BTToggle switches between the audio gateway and the regular blue tooth from the phone...
Try holding the button in a little longer. Most BT headsets have a short press "connect" for BT and a long press for dial or in our case VC. This assumes that your BT partnership is established.
I have found the BT toggle program not to work, but the BTaudio program to work for me.
hal, what headset do you have? That will help in answering your question.
As seth said, the 510 for example sometimes takes a press and hold of a few seconds before VC is activated.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Hal, make sure that you:
1) install to main memory
2) soft reset after installation
If you do these two things you will be able to use your headset to launch and execute voice commands
It sounds like application I dreamed about. I was trying to run this application on HP IPAQ 6515, but with no success. Can you help? It installs without problem, but when I run it it gives no output.
I even installed .Net framework with no progress.
I tried both version you published.

sorry. I wrote this app for the PPC-6700 / XV6700. I don't know how the iPAQ works.
I am not getting this to work on my 6700. When I push the voice dial button it takes me the record a note screen no matter which mode I am in. Any suggestions?

What ROM are you using? It only works on the stock 2.0 version.
