Im sure this has been answered but the thread is too long for me to just search for it.
When i use BTToggle the audio will transfer to my bluetooth headset for about 5-10 seconds. Then Voice Dialing opens and then stops the music from playing in my BT headset.
my question is:
Can you stop voice dialing from starting at all?
Use BTToggle to put it in Audio Gateway Mode, then push the button on your bluetooth headset to transfer the audio to the headset.
Very very imp. hack. This is a great great hack and is very much required for people having single earpiece headset like HS-700 or HS-850 of motorola, thereby enabling music and Audio Speed Dial together. Good job thisguyinoc.
I've been using this for a little over a month now, and the only problem i've had with it is trying to keep from laughing out load while streaming Howard on-site at a clients.
I recently installed the tornado a2dp cabs and am using a BT stereo headphone (Sony Ericsson's hbh-ds970). I'm able to pair up the headphone w/ my sprint 6700 and connect through wireless stereo without a problem. then a call comes in and the music pauses and I'm able to take the call. However, when the call ends, the music continues in WMP or TCMP, but no sound comes throught - as if the audio gateway does not re-establish a connection. Will installing this BTToggle proggy help?
Also is there a way you can map a button to the bluetooth headset to do this toggle. Or do you have to map a button to the phone only?
There is only 1 button on the Bt head set that will invoke anything on the PPC (the multifunction button), and as it is, it will only either invoke the voice dialer or opening the audio gateway.

you need to push the button on the headset to open the audio gateway again.
Wow lots of information here but for the guys that only have a few hours to get this working where do we go for the right answers? I've tried the A2DP thing, (grayed out can't select), i tried all the Downloads on this site and still with my UTStarcom (updated) I can't get anymore than 10 seconds of music from my Scala 500 BT headset.
I'm really struggling to see how this app does anything. Here's the deal. I can listen to music with TCPMP. I hit the call button on the BT headset and the Voice Tag program runs. After I'm done it does not, I repeat not, go back to music on the BT headset. Running this program does not, I repeat not turn the BT headset back on. About all I can see it does is pop up dialog boxes but the phone is still stuck with BT disconnected. I have to power off the headset then power it back on as well as restart TCPMP to get it to work again. I've been searching and searching for a solution to this problem. Many people claim they have a fix. No fix fixes it though!
Just want to make sure you understand the intended function of the program. It doesn't turn the Bluetooth connection on or off. It only changes the phone's reaction to clicking the multifuntion button of the headset.
In the phone's normal mode, clicking the headset button activates the voice dialing program. After toggling once using this program, the phone will not respond to the multifuntion button click in that way; instead, it will redirect the phone's audio output to the headset instead of to the phone's speaker, WHEN YOU CLICK THE MULTIFUNCTION BUTTON. Running the program again makes the phone again respond to the multifuction button click by running the voice dialing program.
In my experience, a single click of the multifunction button rarely achives the switch to audio over the headset. I usually have to click two or three times on the button, testing for audio each time by tapping the Start button or menu icon to listen for the click sound in the headset.
well im farely new to this forum.. but anyways i found this linked from somewhere else.. and installed the second verion for net1.1 and it works great.. took me a sec to figure it out..but this is awesome.. i have had this phone for a total of like 3 days.. and ahh all i can say is im really impressed.. well great job.. also just wondering.. how well does it work with a car stereo system... thanks
I have a brand new xv6700, current 2.07.20 ROM, VC installed, plantronics 510 headset and working fine with my headset. Installed the toggle cab (only one file in the .zip, is this correct?) with the latest post that says it has "the little icon" for the today screen (one not requiring the 2.0 framework). Installs fine. Toggle appears to run, and get the little prompt as to gateway vs. voice dial comes up.
1) No little icon on my today screen
2) Tried every sequence that I could think of, but don't get audio thru headset
3) Only time I hear music is after call or voice command quits, I hear music thru the headset for maybe a second and then it switches over to the speaker.

The "little icon" is referring to the Program icon found in Programs listing.
Once in Audio Gateway mode, it should go straight to the audio gateway once you press the button on your bluetooth headset. some headsets require you to hold the button down a little longer than others.
I have tried every combination, every click, every hold that I can think of. The toggle doesn't seem to accomplish anything other that make it such that you can't get the hands free to work when it is in dial mode.

Sorry, it could be a conflict with VC. I don't use VC and it works fine for me. Wish I could help you more.
