I didn't install any other program or hack. You just install this program, use it to toggle the BT connection, then all the sound from the 6700 will be routed to the the BT device instead of the phone speaker when you hit the button you would use to make a voice call on your BT device. Another great homemade app.

Before the ROM update, you just press the button on you blietooth headset. After the ROM update, install this app and you can toggle between having it voice dial or just forwarding the sound to your headset.

One of the problems with having a car with Bluetooth built in is that unlike an earpiece, there is no button to start a voice call unless you are actually dialing a number (at least on the Prius). Any way around that, to open the Bluetooth channel from the PPC and then start streaming music to the car's audio? Sort of need to simulate an incoming call to get the channel open.

Thanks

Thats a tough one. I don't have an answer to that, but I do know that the sound quality via bluetooth isn't very good anyways, and I don't think you would want to listen to it that way through your car stereo. Good luck!

mcitrons I have a Lexus which I believe uses the same Bluetooth system as Prius, but the Bluetooth in my car has separate speaker system, which sounds like a intercom compared to the car speakers which I really wouldn’t prefer to use for music. Now on the other hand if only the new ROM update would of included A2DP then this adapter would have been perfect for me.

Not sure. I only have a PPC6700. Try it out and post your results. It won't break anything if it doesn't work, just uninstall it.

I'm using the VC hack on the new ROM. If I click the button on my headset all audio switches to the headset and Voice Command prompts. If I just ignore the Voice Command prompt and let it time out all audio comes through the head set. I use mapopolis this way. What functionality does this tool give beyond what I'm doing now? Is it different quality audio, is it stereo instead of mono?

I created this app for use with the voice speed dialer that comes with the new ROM, not sure if it works with VC. Maybe someone else can comment with their experience using it with VC. But it does not changethe audio quality, it just changes the function of the button on the bluetooth headset.

I just purchased the Motorolla H700 BT headset. I have tried to install the free voice dialer 2 a couple of weeks ago, but I can't seem to get it running. Where can I obtain this new free voice dialer application and how do I install it. If someone can list step by step instructions on how to do so I would really appretiate it.

TIA,
Asif

Well i decided to remove the program since I discovered u can simply lock the phone or turn off screen hit bluetooth button to open audio gateway the turn the screen on an bam u can stream music to the headset. u can still recieve a call but music shuts off, then back to streaming afterwards. But like I stated earlier the bluetooth seems to affect the connectivity of wifi anyone one else with these issues??? Also when i tried to uninstall under remove programs, it removes the program from that menu but leaves it in my programs folder and the durn thing still works!! How can I fully remove this program!?!?!?? PS I tried soft resetting after unistalling.

Which mode are you in? Did you toggle it to Audio Gateway mode?

that doesn't work for me. If the uninstall fails, just delete the follwoing file and folder and you are done:

\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\BTToggle.lnk
\Program Files\BTToggle (folder)

The voice speed dialer comes with the new ROM update. Check the sticky on this forum.
