Anyone have the link to movies that demonstrated the features of the AKU update and how direct push worked? Or any other good technical articles on how AKU operates?

I saw it on this forum but searching I'm not finding it.

I'm trying to reserach how this server-phone connection/heartbeat stays alive, is it two way, one way, over what ports and services does it operate etc.

My company doesnt allow us to AS to the exchange box so we cant set up an exchange connection and start direct pushes. So without that ability I'm looking figure out if I can somehow internally create the connection but then what would need to be open externally to still receive direct push.

I have a feeling direct push opeartes over the EAS service and since thats blocked externally Direct Push isn't going to work (Thats my guess Im trying to confirm). Essentially it looks just like a glorified sms-pull process, just over a single service and protocol rather then 3 apps and 2 protocols...

Any info would be appreciated!!!
