Anyone seen this? Many times when I answer a call (usually by pressing answer while its ringing it VERY shortly after a ring) it will freeze up. By freezing I mean the called ID white bubble stays on the screen and no buttons work at all. Only way to clear things back to normal is the magic button X. I am running SPB Diary, MB, and Kokkos grey today theme.
So if you let it ring a couple of times, it won't ever freeze up?
Did you go through the sticky "apps that don't work" thread?
You may have to start removing apps to see if there's a conflict.
Mine was doing that alot too...It seemed like it only happened when it was trying to connect to the internet for an email update or something...I bet it was happpening at least 5 times a day to me....I had all kinds of crap on there though...I got a new one this last weekend, and havent put much on it yet, and so far it hasnt done the same thing...
So u other guys have the Verizon or Sprint phone? I'd like to narrow this down if possible. Please list the apps u run as well when u've seen the issue. Thanks!
Recently installed Kirvins 3.5 AKU (no additional software other than the new version of Microsoft Live Search). On incoming calls when the phone is in standby (display off), the screen wakes then the phone freezes for about 6-8 seconds then finally shows the display box (caller number, etc). Basically it only gives me 2-3 seconds to answer the call before it goes to a missed call.

This has happened to me. I was using too much memory. I cleared the cache, cookies and history for my internet and it fixed it. I do this once a week and have not had the problem since.

Has this happened to you prior to flashing to Kirvins 3.5? If so, you are probably experiecing delayed ringer response and need to see this post about fixing it >> http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...tml#post416866
If you haven't experienced it before I say reflash back to the stock rom test, and then go from there.
Also check to make sure the ringtone you're using is on main storage and not storage card!
