Orb/Gloonet: Anyone used both?
I've been an Orb user for several months, and while it works most of the time, it is unstable on my PC at home (crashes frequently) and doesn't play nicely with WMP or TCPMP (used to work with TCPMP, but not anymore for some reason). I've used some hacks to get it to work, but it still isn't entirely reliable.
Gloonet looks like a good alternative, and it streams MP3s, which would allow me to use some of the other (more robust) third-party media players on the market. Bonus: Compatible with Macs, too!
I guess there is a third possibility - SlimServer. But it requires more configuration and setup (network related)...
Anyone have reviews comparing/contrasting the services?
