I posted earlier about the ActiveSync button being disabled in CommMgr. I see it's active when connected via USB. Curious... Also, as soon as I unplug, the phone dials #777. This is probably a result of having DirectPush enabled. BTW, DirectPush was apparently enabled by default when I installed the cert and set up to sync with my Exchange Server (2003 SP2).
Under Roaming Options I am seeling 'Sprint Only, Automatic and Roaming Only' It is on Automatic stock, and I can switch between the three
And you have the new ROM update installed? If so then my guess is that you didn't install (or only partially installed) the extrom. Can you confirm this?
Okay, I seem to be having an small issue now. Now, then the EV session is active, I cannot receive an incoming call. The phone seems to ignore it.
Yep I noticed this; I don’t get the calls while I am transferring data...
AND THIS.
When I stopped browsing a page (EV arrows are grey, but am still connected) I get the call AND it drops my connection, so I have to reconnect on my laptop... WModem on the 6700 drops the yellow connection box when the call rings in, even if you hit ignore.
Oh wtf...I didn’t touch my 6700 and left WModem up and after getting Disconnected because of the incoming call, my network status on my computer still showed me as being online but I couldn’t browse, it wasnt reconnecting like it used to do. So I right-clicked and disconnected my USB WModem (CDMA) once I did that the WModem on the 6700 went back into connected mode, the EV icon changed back to the arrows and the yellow connection box was back. I had to reconnect my Dial-up connection like I would if I was connecting for the first time.
I dont know if this is different if you use the Windows WModem to tether. I am just clicking the one listed under my Network connections and having that dial.

Ok did another test. I connected with the WModem that came on my 6700 CD for windows. Connected and was still unable to get the call while sending/receiving data. Stopped the data and arrows went into grey, call rang in and picked ignore and was still "kicked" offline. Did this once more and instead of Ignore I hit the hang-up button, it seemed to not work the first time I hit it, as the phone didn’t stop ringing so I had to hit two more times, but I was still "kicked" offline.
Looks like its back to the old 6600 ways I really hated that, I liked getting having my calls come through and still stay connected.
I did a Full install and let all the cabs install.
Have not changed any reg settings yet..

Just tested--phone call interrupts EV-DO data transmission just fine.

See my post above.
Does it drop your EV connection once you pickup or hangup the call?
It never did this before, i could be downloading a file get a call, and not able to go to any site while the call is coming in. Hit ignore or hang-up and my download will contiune on like it hadn't been disconnected.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it's one of the cabs that install. However, I dunno, before the ROM upgrade it would interrupt the EVDO session.
BTW, does anyone know what DDTM is and how to change it?

Yep I have the new ROM update and let the extrom install all the stuff.
First, to clarify, I wasn't teathered when reporting results earlier. I've never teathered the 6700 as I have a data card, too. I was streaming data when testing, and the call interrupts the streaming and the streaming resumes when the call ends.
