I wonder if the speed difference you guys are seeing is because of the ROM update or simply because all the junk is erased off of it...

Ok It seems that you can't erase the stuff in the extended rom. Well you can but on a reset it comes back again.

Got it working. After I hard reset, I aborted the SPCS customization, and apparently it checks for that. It's updating currently. Can't wait to try out all the new features. Sounds wonderful!

One thing I notice every single time I hard reset is when setting up the screen alignment it is very slow. After the ROM update it is very snappy like on every other PPC I have owned.

Has anyone had to reprogram the msn and msid after the upgrade? Just curious before I take the plunge.

Just started the update. Anybody remember what the first dialog window after it tells you what its updating your phone to says? I somehow clicked continue or whatever by accident before reading it and I'm curious.

I think MS Voice Command is better because you don't have to add tags or train a voice.

OK, too quiet in here.....

Some questions/things to watch for, for those who have updated:
1) Any difference in BT?? Louder or further range?
2) Did it include Picture Mail, or does it still need to be "hacked?"
3) WATCH TO SEE IF YOU GET THE DSOD WITH SD CARD INSTALLED!!
4) Is BT still disconnecting on its own??
5) Can you still teather?
