Well you're missing perhaps the biggest addition, the MSFP (Messaging and Security Feature Pack)... which is a big deal if you get your mail via an Exchange 2003 server--otherwise of little importance.
You get native voice dial (it's cyberon though, not MS Voice Command)
You get a battery meter in the top bar instead of the bottom (only shows up on the today screen though).
You do get some improvements to the bluetooth stack (volume you already mentioned, but there should be better compatibility with car kits as well).
You get the ability to clear "stuck" VM notifications.
By applying an old trick used for embedded Visual Basic programs, I created a launcher application called RunSkype.exe, which is hardcoded to run the Skype executable. I also used an icon editor, such as Microangelo, to embed a full-color VGA-friendly icon in the tiny 26KB executable.
Place the RunSkype.exe file in the same folder where Skype is installed on your device, then create a shortcut for RunSkype.exe in your \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder, replacing your old shortcut for Skype. The next time you soft reset, you'll appreciate how fast the icon shows up, and if you have a VGA Pocket PC, such as an HTC Universal or Dell Axim x50v, the icon will look a lot nicer, too. Very Happy In fact, many programs could use a "facelift," what do you think?
I figured out what the StopData button is for in Comm Manager. Its so you can end your data sessions when you want to connect via WModem. lol No more putting the phone into flight mode to end the session.
DirectPush
Stop Data (when I press this my phone dials #777--can anybody explain or is this primarily a GSM thing?)

Stop data works great for me, it ended my EVDO session. I think I may try the always on hack and see if these work together. That would be very convient.
If you are using Symantec AntiVirus Coroporate Edition with Tamper Protection on your PC, please disable it before you do the upgrade. I didn't think abou it and the Tamper Protecttion blocked the upgrade utility.
Now I just show USB V1.00 on my device when connected to USB and Serial v1.00 when not connected. A hard reset does nothing.
Any ideas? Or am I now a proud owner of a nice looking paper weight.
Small note. When in landscape you have recent programs used on the start. Instead of scrolling threw them all you can left and right over them when you go to the top section.

2 ideas:
1) Hold down both of the - buttons and soft reset while holding that.
2) Just try to reinstall the software!
Everything installed fine and I reninstalled the certificate and Exchange push is working fantastic. I get the email to the phone before I get it on the desktop.
The phone also syncs with the exchange server fine EXCEPT it constantly shows "synchronizing" with the exchange server while in the cradle. I have to stop it manually when it's in the cradle. Once it is out it works great again.
Another issue I've noticed is that the display turns off after 30 seconds regardless of what I set it to (even when plugged in and connected to activesync). Anyone else notice this?

Okay, this is EXACTLY what happened to me except it wasn't caused by Norton. Unplug the phone from the USB cable, wait a minute or two, then plug it back in. If your computer recognizes it as new hardware (the little icon will appear and then disappear in your systray), then you're set. Just run the update and it WILL work.

Are you sure you set the value in the "external power" tab and the "battery power" tab individually?
