I assume everyone has these?? If not, the Internet Explorer tools alone is awesome. It allows Java use and so "normal" websites can be used!!
Very nice. I love them all.
Remote desktop etc.!!
Just to clarify, the PIE Power Toy is used to turn Javascript on and off, which is included by default and normally active in PIE. It has nothing to do with the Java runtime environment (JRE) that many websites still need.
The PIE Power Toy can also be used to manage the size of the PIE cache.

Ummmm, no! Stock, the device WILL NOT let you use the buttons on the regular yahoo mail site, etc. With the power tool set to "On" it works MINT!!
Dunno your expertice or reputation, so i won't bash, but please be informed about making such blanket statements.
Not that link. Actually, the "toys" I am talking about are single apps that you browse and get as you like. And yes, they are WM5 updated.

This post is useless without a link(s). I just spent 20 minutes browsing around and have yet to find the powertoys you speak of. I browsed the entire WM site under apps, the developer resources dept, and the search feature and nothing other than the link provided, a developer powertoy set (dated 2003), and desktop versions were found. If they are individual apps, are they considered powertoys at all?? Are they made by Microsoft to begin with? The reason I ask is because other the new .NET framework, ActiveSync 4.1, Microsoft Reader, and a slew of developer software, MS hasn't released anything that I could find that was "optimized" for WM 5.0 at all recently. So if you could help us out, link the the app(s) your are referring to and save us the headache of trying to figure out what you are talking about.

We would appreciate it!

agreed. What is the point of even posting without a link?

I think my reputation is pretty good around here, and I've been an IT professional for over 30 years.
Pocket IE does have Javascript support built-in and if turning it on made a difference on your device it's possible that it had been turned off somehow previously. Here's an O'Reilly article on Windows Mobile 5.0 that specifically mentions the Javascript support:
"The Internet Explorer in Windows Mobile 5.0 is much improved. It now comes with improved scripting support (such as Javascript)..."
And regarding WM5 support, I think if you'll check the dates on the files associated with the Windows Mobile Power Toys you'll find that they are all too old to have been updated for Windows Mobile 5.0.
BTW, I'm definitely in favor of being informed.

P.S. If anyone has alternate links with Power Toys that are updated for WM5, please provide them.
I see what hapened now. Microsoft has changed the link for the Windows Mobile Power Toys to go a newly formatted page that no longer includes the Pocket IE Power Toy.

I'll bet you're just a Mac user that doesn't want to admit it.
The cab file for ARM/Xscale processors is attached (just rename the file extension from "zip" to "cab").
