I haven't found a way to enter control characters or ESC with the hardware keyboard. Also, you can't type special characters that you have to use Sym to get to in applications like Pocket SSH.

You can type ESC on the soft keyboard by tapping "Ctl" then "[".

Get PQz
http://www.nicque.com/PQz/

It allows you to remap the keys on the keyboard. For example, I have the windows key mapped to CTRL. (I use the windows key near the screen if I need it).

Thanks!!!!

Needed that!

Spent nearly two hours with Verizon and Audiovox with the repeated response of "that is not supported"

Sadness....

Anyhow easy to remember, same as the 'ol command to get command mode
in telnet

Also have to use the traditional cursor nav commands as the arrow keys
do not cut it in pocket putty.

Now if only I could get the ESC key to work in XP's remote assistance
sessions *sigh*

Whats with these people and messing with commonly and frequently used keyboard keys!? *grumble*

Steve
