my new bt338 globostat will not connect!!!

should i click the serial port box when it asks?
the test program will not connect. shows me nothing. the light never blinks fast on the bluetooth like it is connected to my phone. when i first install it i get a question mark next to the globsta338 symbol when pairing. what does that mean?

I have the same model GPS and I was having trouble until I did the following:

Start...Settings...Connections....Bluetooth....Com Ports...New Outgoing Port

Tell the program that you are using Com Port 6(that's the one I am using) or Com Port xxx.

I had the same problem...

The GPS info (test program) that comes with the bt338 is NOT compatible with windows mobile 5.0.....There is a new version for download that is compatible...I will do some searching and post when I find it....

Just ignore the test program for now and try something like MS streets and trips...

They are a bit tricky to set up the first time, but once you get it figured out (took me a little while) you'll be very happy with the results.
