I noticed some strange behavior with password (Start >> Setting >> Personal Tab >> Password) on my PPC6700.

When you normally enter the 4 digit password, it just shows * for each digit entered (never displays the actual password). But when I set my password as 1122, it displayed * for the first 2 digits (11), but as soon as I entered the 3rd digit (112) it displayed the first 3 digits of the actual password on the screen. When I entered the 4th digit, it again turned the digits into ****.

I am wondering if there is some kind of hidden functionality associated with that behavior.
