cannot sync Tasks to exchange server, only desktop PC
OK, here's another issue with AS 4.1.
I successfully set up my xv6700 to sync e-mail, calendar, contacts and tasks over the air with the Exchange server at work. Everything worked fine.
Then, I set up a partnership with my desktop computer at home so that I could install software and sync my SplashID and RoboForm data. During the set up partnership screens, ActiveSync moved Tasks away from the Exchange Server and placed them in the Desktop sync instead. Nothing I could do would move it back... some options have a drop down menu allowing you to choose which one you want it to sync to but it didn't allow that for tasks.
I then tried deleting the desktop partnership, but no matter what I do, I can't sync tasks to the Exchange server anymore.
Anyone else have this problem?
AS 4.x was not even half-baked when it was released. Quite frankly, the people at MS who worked on it should be ashamed of themselves. It is a good thing over the air syncing with the Exchange server works for e-mail, calendar and contacts otherwise I would not be using a WM5 device at all.
