yeh ive gone through the forums and ive found a few helpful things...the only problem is that the desktop forum i so vast that ill have a problem finding things...i jus dont have a lot of time and i wanna get into and find out stuff for my desktop
you seem like youve been around a while maybe you could help me...do you know how i would go about creating a shortcut to my v-mail through my desktop screen...like the executable or whatever?
It sounds like this might not be the app for you if you don't want to spend some time playing with it. WAD is very customizable but it does take some time to learn it. There are guides over at the lakeridge forum (ie, http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/for...c.php?t=2688_). That is just one of many in the forum. Find some time to read up on it. Also, try downloading a theme or two and look over the skin files to see how it works.
o...nah..you got me all wrong...i was up from 11 pm to 7 am cuz i wanted to customize and learn so much..you can see my desktop in the "what does your today screen" thread...theres just a few issues i have trouble with...but im so into this phone, it just sux that i dont have a lot of spare time
It looks like you have WAD working so I'm not sure what you are having trouble with. I'm not sure what v-mail is but to create a shortcut, just tap and hold on the desktop and select new > shortcut...select the exe for v-mail or the lnk for v-mail in your windows/start menu and you should have the shortcut.
I think I know what you mean. When you create a new shortcut on the desktop its asks for an executable, instead put your voicemail number in that feild. The very last check box in the "create new shortcut page" is "shortcut is phone number", put a check there. Right next to that check box is button to label the shortcut you are creating. Once you get that done, all you should have to do is click the shortcut on your desktop to call your voicemail. You can also use commas to put pauses in. This is helpful if you would like the shortcut to also put your passcode in.

lol, I kept thinking v-mail was an app...astro, if you are talking about speed dials, then follow phatboy's instructions. That will put a voicemail icon on your desktop
