Thumbs down my experience purchasing a stylus from thepocketsolution.com

I purchased a pen/stylus from pocketsolution for my xv
http://www.thepocketsolution.com/Mer...roduct_Count=7

A few minutes later I emailed them and asked them to add another stylus and screen protectors to my order. They replied back after 24hours and said it was too late and if I wanted to order those items they would have to ship and charge me additionally. So I wasn't to happy with this.

Anywho I received the stylus I ordered and it doesn't fit. It is too small and a pain in the but to pull out as you can see in the photo. I don't recommend purchasing this stylus from thepocketsolution.

I bought this pen/stylus on eBay for $.01+$6.99 shipping. It hasn't arrived from Hong Kong yet, so I'll post again when it does.

I'm planning to use this one most of the time and the built-in stylus only when nothing else is available, and the laser pointer is definitely a plus. I've also found that almost any pen or mechanical pencil that retracts completely into the tip will work fine as a stylus, although it's probably best to use a screen protector if you try that, just to be safe.

Please post when you get that one from ebay. It looks sweet, but doesn't look like it will fit.

Definitely glad I didn't get the additional stylus. Guess I will have to buy direct. Let me know of any other etailers that may have the originals.

Same issue with Pocketsolution. I emailed and told them the problem. They promised to mail me replacements for the three wrong stylus' they sent me. I'll let you know if they sent the right ones!

It definitely won't fit into the slot on the 6700, but it should fit in my pocket, which is where I intend to keep it.

By reducing the number of times I use the bult-in stylus, I'm hoping that the retaining mechism will last longer so I don't have to exchange my red logo PPC-6700.

update: received my replacment's. they are the same as the first one's I was sent.they don't fit properly. they advertise on the website that these new 3 in 1 stylus' have an improved tip over the original. the truthis that the tip (aka the cap for the pen) is not the same size and causes the stlus to fall to the bottom of the 'silo' in the antena. difficult to take it out.

I ordered the combo stylus from pocketsolutions a month ago, and while it's not perfect, it does stay in the silo. Also, I like the fact that it sits deeper, so it does not catch on anything and get lost. And yes, I agree that it's not as easy to remove, but once you get used to using your fingernail, it's not that bad. With that said, it does not seem like it should cost $15 shipped, lol... maybe $5 max. Just my 0.2 cents...

wow, see, its funny, because im having the exact opposite problem. i ordered 2 pen stylus and tonight i recieved them. both are too large to even fit into my stylus silo. wont go in no matter how much pushing i do. very upset. at $10 per stylus, they ought to freakin work. im a bic kinda guy, and ive never spent over $2 on a pen in my life...im very disappointed.
