I just recently purchased my PPC 6700 and have done a couple of the registry hacks like the one to speed it up and making it louder.(I mention this as I think it might of caused my problem)

My problem is the little windows-flag-button(called button #1 in the buttons settings window) no longer opens the context menu when it is depressed. On the keyboard, the windows-flag-button still works. I assigned a different assignment to button #1 and it did open said assignment. I tried a soft-restart, but the button will still not open the context manager.

Any thoughts?

Did you go to Settings > Buttons and map the flag button to <Start Menu>?

I never changed anything in there from when I got it and that button worked for opening the start menu. Wierd.

I doubt the reg changes you made cause the button mappings to change...it may be a 3rd party app that you installed changed it.
