I use ActiveSync 4.1 with my XV6700 (WM5) to sync email from Outlook on my laptop. I have spent a good deal of time working out the kinks in ActiveSync 4.1 but this one has me a little stumped.

I set up my email folders for sync'ing from the laptop activesync app and everything syncs fine. However, from time to time, all the folder settings disappear! That is to say that sync'ing no longer transfers any messages to my PPC and when I look at the settings on the laptop, all the folders are unchecked. Re-checking the folders results in a good sync with the PPC.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this may correlate with a soft reset...? (I have have several instances of lost communications which have required reboot of both laptop and PPC.)

Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there a way to protect the activesync email folder settings from getting lost?
