I remember reading some threads about power up issues while using an SD card, but I'm wondering if anything was ever resolved. I've turned off all automatic updates, and I don't have anything installed on the card that runs on the today screen. Sometimes I wake up in the morning and still can't turn my phone on without removing the miniSD card and putting it back in. When I do, I get a message about not recognizing the USB device.
