I'm afraid the Qtek 9000 (HTC Universal) takes the prize for that.

PHM Reg edit
Betaplayer

Those are two freebies I use and love both of them.

TBH though you should at a minimum pick up SPB pocket plus and unless you sync up alot a backup program like sunnysft.

I also have the 45 day trial of opera and when it expires I'll remove it and the registry keys and reinstall it from my Sd card. Its not worth 30 especially when I don't see them doing any upgrades to it.

PHM Reg Edit

Magic Button

Adobe Reader

Wave Pad (Not used on the phone, but used to modify mp3's to make ring tones and alarms)

There are a ton out there, those are the four that I found useful for my needs.

When I go to remove programs I get the dreaded message that it "was not completely removed" and asks if I still want to remove it from the list of installed programs. I've tried hitting no and then soft resetting and uninstalling again, which doesn't work. I've also tried removing via activesync and no dice there either. Anyone figure out how to get rid of this?

Actually, opera is being updated. The developers are working closely with thier comunity of users to iron out the bugs. They just released a new beta with tab support that will be free until june 1. The best browser imo. Will be worth the 30.

TaskPlus, from the excellent http://www.freewareppc.com. Check out http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/taskplus.shtml. Very helpful today plug-in that actually shows the tasks instead of just a summary.
